Roger SURAUD was born the 31th October 1938 in Saint-Etienne.

 

Son and grandson of scultors, he has joined the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in the achitecture department for two years. However Roger Suraud couldn't resist to his passion, it is to say painting.That is why he began to exhibit his canvas from 1964.

 

Uncontested leader of the philosopher's painting, Roger Suraud is considered as one of  the best artists of the contemporay period. His work permits us to dream and meditate.

 

His paintings are in many private collections in Europe, Asia, USA, Canada, Morocco or even Saudi Arabia.
