Pajot particularly enjoys festal atmospheres. He often amuses himself by depicting fabulous corteges of masked men and women wearing fancy dress.

 

Attracted by subjects that require taut or relaxed features, like elastic bands. Sensuality, grandiloquence, farce, grimace of surprise as well as about something silly perfectly lend themselves to the fantastic manipulation of pencils and the palette knife.

 

For Pajot, the motif is just the pretext for looking for endless research of shades, some interpretations that were repeated thousand of times in order to reach a darker black, a more discret gold, a brightness more delicate.
