After have been briefly working with classical painting (landscapes and portraits), the artist KOKOPELLI, influenced by Pop art and narrative realism, has decided to move towards more contemporary creations and to use only basic and bright colours. But he needed to find a more «Fun» medium in order to go further into his artistic research. That’s the reason why he has become a sculptor. He creats his « brand » by  coming up with idea of booted animals : dogs with sneakers (called Khan), bull wearing boots and heeled pussy-cat.

 

Kokopelli makes us sensitive to our cultural behavour through icons, logos and « I love » images. Kokipelli is an Indian spirit who originated in Amerindian legends and beliefs.

He is a joyful traveller and the symbol of fertility, happiness, rejoicing and long life.
